Day 4 — Morning · villa courtyard

villa courtyard — bright morning sunlight and the smell of fresh toast

Morning sunlight streams through the glass of your private suite, burning away the lingering dampness of last night's rain. The hot shower and plush blue towel did little to settle your spinning thoughts—every kiss with Nanami, every sudden, cold retreat replaying on a loop until exhaustion finally took over. Reaching for your empty nightstand, your fingers brush against a crisp, folded piece of paper slipped beneath your pillow: 'Overtime is manageable when the boundaries are clear. What happened in the rain was a miscalculation on my part, not a game.' Outside in the main courtyard, Megumi stands near the edge of the kitchen deck, his dark eyes tracking Toji as the older mercenary casually stretches in the morning sun, an inexplicable tension taut between them while Yuji noisily sets down a plate of breakfast toast.

Toge Inumaki: "Salmon..."

Choso: "Morning. You slept through breakfast, but Yuji left some toast by the counter if you're hungry."

Grabbing the note in my hand. I get out of bed, throw on a red bra, black tank top, red panties and a pair of short Jean shorts. Casual today. I leave my curls down and flowing, slip into a simple pair of black flip flops and walk into the kitchen. I nod to Choso and thank him and Yuji for the toast but politely decline. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and chug half of it in one breath before turning to the kitchen and everyone in it. My eyes are bloodshot, it clear I had a rough night.

You march straight into the morning light of the kitchen deck, the crumpled paper from Nanami held firmly in your fist. Clutching a fresh water bottle from the fridge, you crack the seal and chug half of it in one long, desperate breath, your bloodshot eyes sweeping over the assembled room. Across the counter, Nanami freezes mid-bite, his spoon hovering over his bowl as his sharp gaze locks onto the paper in your hand and the dark circles under your eyes. Near the stove, Yuji almost drops his spatula, while Toji leans back against the island with a slow, amused smirk playing across his scarred lip.

Yuji Itadori: "Woah, slow down on the cold water! Donna, are you sure you’re okay? You look like you got about two minutes of sleep."

Toji Fushiguro: "Look at you. Rough night, princess? You look like you just went twelve rounds with a heavy bag."

Toge Inumaki: "Salmon... mustard leaf?"

Choso: "If you're not eating, at least take a seat. Drinking ice water on an empty stomach when you're that depleted isn't going to help."

I nod and smile. I'll be ok, just a couple of rough night sleeps. I glance at Nanami and so the room before exiting to the pool deck. Muttering to myself "This is embarrassing I look like I was hit by a fucking truck and he looks cool and unbothered" I continue walking and complaining to myself taking a seat on the chaise sofa. Falling back into the corner of the seat, resting my head on the back of it and laughing softly at my own disgusting self. "I'm pathetic" I whisper holding the cool bottle to my forehead.

You slip past the island and exit onto the sun-drenched pool deck, leaving the stifling silence of the kitchen behind you. The dark wicker chaise sofa in the shaded corner catches your fall as you sink back into the cushions, pressing the condensation-beaded water bottle directly against your aching forehead. From across the counter, Nanami's eyes follow your path through the glass doors, his jaw set in a rigid line as he remains seated, refusing to cross the threshold. Toji casually shifts his weight against the outdoor pillar a few feet away, adjusting his tight black shirt with a low, dry chuckle while Choso quietly steps out to take a seat on the low stool beside your chaise.

Toji Fushiguro: "If you're looking for sympathy, you're at the wrong address, kid. But the shade over here isn't bad."

Yuji Itadori: "Donna... don't say that about yourself. You're not pathetic at all."

Choso: "Leave her be for a minute, Yuji. She just needs space to breathe."

I reply mater if fact "I'm not looking for sympathy or attention from anyone." I keep the water on my head and sigh

You keep the condensation-coated plastic bottle firmly pressed against your temples, closing your eyes against the glare of the pool deck as a heavy sigh escapes your chest. Toji doesn't budge from his post against the pillar, merely smirking as he folds his arms over his tight compression shirt. Beside your lounge chair, Choso nods once in quiet respect, resting his hands on his knees and giving you the space you asked for without another word. Inside through the glass doors, Nanami sets his spoon down on the counter with a sharp, measured click, his blue shirt crisp and spotless while his dark eyes remain pinned on you.

Toji Fushiguro: "Suit yourself, kid. Nobody's handing out sympathy around here anyway."

Choso: "I understand. Take all the time you need."

Kento Nanami: "A minute is up. Let's not make a production out of the morning."

📦 grab your stuff and head back inside

You push off from the shaded chaise, clutching your cold water bottle, and turn your back on the pool deck. Toji's sharp eyes track your movement with an easy smirk, while Choso quietly stands up from his stool to make a clear path for you. Inside the air-conditioned kitchen, Nanami remains seated at the counter, his posture rigid as his dark eyes follow your steady approach toward the glass doors. Before anyone can say another word, the Director's amplified voice crackles through the courtyard speakers, cutting through the thick morning tension.

Toji Fushiguro: "Going back in already? The sun barely hit your face."

Choso: "Let her be. If she wants to head inside, that's her choice."

"I need another water, Toji."I grab another bottle holding it to my throat. I take a deep breath. My eyes hurt and my head aches. I'm not sleeping well and the last 3 days have been emotional nightmares. I feel Kento's note in my back pocket. I feel his gaze on me "Hope you. A reminder that that could go one of two ways, happy or tragic. I inhale and push the exhaustion down. I sip the cold water and turn to see Kento's eyes are fixed on mine. I return his stare "I hope you enjoyed breakfast. See you out there." I offer a kind smile and walk back to the area where the director has gathered everyone

villa lounge — the cool air-conditioned living space crowded with all nineteen sorcerers

You toss a second empty water bottle into the bin and step back inside, passing Kento Nanami without dropping eye contact for a single beat. His jaw tightens behind his polished glasses as you offer that cool, dismissive smile and glide past him toward the lounge, where the rest of the cast is already assembled. The Director stands at the center of the room beside a high glass pedestal holding a massive, glowing red jar, clapping their hands to demand complete silence from the crowded room. Gojo sprawls over the back of the plush central sofa with an eager smirk, while Toji loungingly leans against the doorway behind you, his dark eyes tracking your every step.

Satoru Gojo: "Oh, a dare jar? Sounds like my kind of game. Try to keep up, Nanami."

🔥 Take a front-row seat and watch who steps up

You drop smoothly into the front-row velvet armchair, resting your cold water bottle in your lap and leaning back to observe the spectacle. Satoru Gojo doesn't hesitate for a single second—he struts straight up to the glowing glass pedestal, flashes you a dazzling, irreverent grin, and plunges his hand deep into the red Dare Jar. Across the room by the archway, Nanami stands with his arms crossed over his crisp tan suit, his dark eyes locked onto you rather than the game, while Sukuna smirks wickedly from his perch on the high stool. In the corner near the kitchen counter, Shoko quietly ignites an unlit cigarette, muttering a dry observation to a thoroughly unbothered Geto about the ridiculousness of men competing over coffee and dares. Gojo pulls out a tightly folded slip of red paper, snapping it open with a dramatic flourish that catches the bright studio lights.

Satoru Gojo: "Since nobody else has the guts to go first, I'll take the honors! Let's see what kind of terrible idea the Director put in here."

Kento Nanami: "Just pull the paper, Gojo. Some of us actually value our time."

Ryomen Sukuna: "Make sure it's something entertaining, six-eyes, or I'm taking the jar myself."

I return Kentos stare then turn to Gojo "Read it out loud, please"

Satoru Gojo snaps the slip of red paper open between two fingers, his theatrical grin widening as his eyes scan the ink. Across the lounge, Kento Nanami's jaw tightens even further, his dark eyes shifting from you to Satoru with razor-sharp focus. Satoru lowers his black blindfold over his eyes with a smooth, practiced flick of his wrist, blocking his vision entirely as he steps out from beside the pedestal. The room holds its breath as he takes his first blind, deliberate step toward your front-row chair, his hands outstretched in the cool air.

Satoru Gojo: "'Cross the lounge blindfolded and steal a kiss from Donna without getting blocked by another suitor.'"

Kento Nanami: "That is a ridiculous waste of production time."

I close my eyes and trust that Nanami will stop him.... we will see what happens 🫣

You shut your eyes tightly, letting the dark cool space behind your eyelids take over as Satoru's light, blind steps stride closer across the polished wood. But before his outstretched hands can reach your chair, a solid, unyielding shoulder intercepts him with a heavy thud. You open your eyes to find Nanami standing directly between you and Satoru, his tan suit immaculate and his posture completely rigid as he plants himself like an iron wall. Satoru staggers back half a step, pulling down his blindfold with a dramatic pout while the room erupts into a chorus of catcalls from Toji and Sukuna.

Kento Nanami: "I believe that's enough, Gojo. Step back."

Satoru Gojo: "Whoa, Nanami! You're breaking the rules of the game! Director, is he allowed to cockblock me?"

My eyes widen as I see the beautiful tan back of Kento. He does care about me. I smile, practically glowing as he tells Gojo to back off. I watch as Gojo walks away disappointed but respects Kento and Kento pulls his dare slip slowly turning to see my waiting blue eyes gleaming up at him. He reads his dare out loud

Kento Nanami turns slowly, his tall frame blocking the lingering sight of Gojo, and his dark eyes meet your gleaming blue gaze. A subtle twitch at the corner of his jaw betrays the sudden spike in his cursed energy as he unfolds the red slip drawn from the jar. In the back, Suguru Geto adjusts the wooden prayer beads around his wrist, his narrow eyes tracking the heavy silence hanging between you and Kento. Kento clears his throat once, holding your stare as he reads the crisp black ink out loud, his voice resonant and steady despite the competitive heat radiating through the air-conditioned lounge.

Kento Nanami: "A kiss on the cheek, or a question answered with absolute, unvarnished truth."

Suguru Geto: "Well, Nanami? A gentleman doesn't keep the lady waiting—or are you going to hide behind your contract?"

💬 "Answer the question, Kento. Truth."

Kento Nanami stands rooted before your chair, his hands smoothing the front of his tan suit coat as the silence in the lounge stretches paper-thin. He doesn't look away from your blue eyes, ignoring Geto's smooth amusement and Gojo's low whistle from the couch. The admission lands like heavy iron in the crowded room, his voice steady and completely stripped of corporate distance. Behind you near the archway, Toji Fushiguro shifts his weight, dark eyes glinting as he steps past the sofa straight toward the glowing jar for Round Four.

Kento Nanami: "If you insist on an answer... the note in your pocket was written because I could not tolerate leaving things between us lingering in silence. That is my truth."

Suguru Geto: "Look at Nanami using his dare for an actual confession. How romantic."

I blush nodding at Kento

Your cheeks flush a warm, betraying rose as you offer Kento a small, genuine nod, the helpless sincerity of his confession settling heavy between you. Nanami's eyes soften just a fraction, his hand rising to adjust the knot of his spotted tie to mask the sudden crack in his composure. Before the quiet tension can drop any deeper, Yuji Itadori bounds up to the pedestal like a stray rocket, grinning wide as his hand dives into the red Dare Jar. Across the lounge, Toji leans his heavy, scarred shoulder against the wooden doorframe, watching Yuji's bright energy with a lazy, amused smirk.

Kento Nanami: "I don't make a habit of stating things I don't mean, Donna."

Yuji Itadori: "Okay, my turn! Let's see what kind of crazy dare I get!"

Toji Fushiguro: "Don't embarrass yourself kid, the bar is already on the floor."

I sit waiting for Yuji to read his dare but continously stare over his shoulder at Nanami. Should we talk now. No I'll wait for our date tonight. I'm picking him no matter what "Go ahead Yuji"

You lean back into the deep cushion of your armchair, giving Yuji the green light with a prompt nod, yet your eyes drift straight past his bright orange-trimmed collar to fix on Nanami. Standing immovable in his tan suit, Kento doesn't break the connection; his gaze remains heavy, anchored entirely on you despite the surrounding noise. Satoru slumps lower into the sofa cushion with a theatrical sigh, his blindfold dangling casually from his fingers as he tracks the sharp, exclusive quiet passing between you and Nanami. Yuji snaps open his red paper slip with explosive energy, his mouth twisting into a wide, competitive grin that instantly cuts through the lounge's lingering tension.

Yuji Itadori: "Alright, let's see what the jar of destiny has for me! ...Oh, man, okay!"

Toji Fushiguro: "Read it, kid. Don't stall."

Yuji Itadori: "'Do ten single-arm push-ups with the lady sitting on your back, or take the mystery punishment!' Easy money!"

💪 Accept Yuji's challenge and hop on

You step over to the center pedestal, smooth the hem of your black mini sundress, and hop cleanly onto Yuji's broad back as he drops into a wide, single-arm plank position. His body locks tight under your weight, his bright orange-trimmed hood rustling against your knees as he easily dips into his first rep without a single wobble. Yet as Yuji smoothly pumps through his push-ups, your chin remains tilted up, your blue eyes remaining stubbornly locked onto Nanami standing just two feet away. Kento stands motionless in his immaculate tan suit, his dark eyes burning into yours with quiet, unyielding intensity over Yuji's bobbing shoulders.

Yuji Itadori: "Alright, hold on tight, Donna! Single-arm push-ups—piece of cake!"

Toji Fushiguro: "Don't collapse and drop her, kid. That suit behind you looks like he'd charge you for the dry cleaning."

Kento Nanami: "Your form is atrocious, Itadori. Keep your core tight."

I sit perfectly srill but Yuji can only do 3 push-ups

Yuji gets through two smooth reps, his body taut under your weight, but as you sit perfectly still with your eyes fixed entirely on Nanami, his single arm buckles on the third descent. He collapses onto the central rug with a huff of carpet dust, sending you sliding gently off his back. Kento doesn't break your stare for a single second, a shadow of a smirk touching his mouth at Yuji's sudden collapse. Sukuna steps casually past the fallen Yuji, his dark kimono open to reveal his chest markings as his clawed hand reaches deep into the glowing Dare Jar.

Yuji Itadori: "Wait—three?! Hold on, my arm just locked up, I swear I can do ten!"

Ryomen Sukuna: "Pathetic, brat. Out of the way."

🎬 Sit back and watch Sukuna's bid

You sink back against the velvet edge of the lounge cushions, resting your chin on your hand as you watch Sukuna take the pedestal. Yuji scrambles up from the rug, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish flush before checking your posture to ensure you weren't jostled. Sukuna ignores him entirely, long clawed fingers dipping casually into the crimson magic of the Dare Jar. He unfolds the parchment with slow, deliberate arrogance, his red eyes burning directly into yours across the narrow floor. Over near the doorway, Utahime quietly nudges a scowling Gojo back as Satoru's gaze drifts toward Choso resting against the stone pillar.

Yuji Itadori: "You alright, Donna? Didn't land too hard on you, did I?"

Ryomen Sukuna: "Quiet, brat. Your turn is finished."

Ryomen Sukuna: "'Whisper your dark truth directly into her ear, or forfeit your next evening bid.' How predictable."

🫦 "Let's hear this 'dark truth', King."

Sukuna doesn't move an inch from the pedestal, his open light kimono hanging loose across his chest as a dark, razor-sharp grin slowly breaks across his markings. He tilts his chin down, letting his crimson gaze linger over your black mini sundress with absolute, unapologetic amusement while the rest of the villa holds its breath. Near the doorway, Nanami’s jaw tightens imperceptibly, his classic wristwatch ticking silently against his wrist as Gojo leans forward on the lounge cushions, blindfold slung over one knee.

Ryomen Sukuna: "My truth? Every single weakling in this villa is insufferable... except for the subtle way you look at me like you're waiting to see who burns first."

That ia a dark truth for you, points to you. Maki, your turn

Sukuna sneers lightly at your points verdict, stepping back from the pedestal with his light kimono fluttering open to reveal his dark chest markings, completely unbothered by the villa's collective sigh of relief. Maki pushes off the side wall with quiet authority, her dark hair swaying as she strides past Yuji and halts right in front of the glowing jar. Nanami doesn't shift his gaze from you, his tan suit motionless as his dark eyes subtly track your posture on the central rug. Maki reaches her hand deep into the crimson flame of the jar, drawing out a coiled black parchment slip with an eager, competitive smirk.

Ryomen Sukuna: "A point? That's generous for a creature whose idea of a truth is just stating the obvious."

Maki Zenin: "Finally. Move out of the way, King of Curses—let someone who actually knows how to win take a shot."

Yuji Itadori: "Show 'em how it's done, Maki! Don't let the jar intimidate you!"

Kento Nanami: "Keep it moving. We still have a schedule to keep."

You smirk at Sukuna "Obvious or not, sometimes being honest with yourself is the hardest and bravest thing you'll ever do... Sukuna" My eyes linger on Kento, he knows my words are for him, I then turn my attention to Maki "Let's see what you got for me, Sunshine"

Your words hang in the hot air of the lounge, lingering directly over Nanami's rigid shoulders as he stands with his arms tightly crossed over his tan suit. A faint, telltale flex in his jaw reveals the exact moment your message lands, his dark eyes darkening behind his spotted tie. Sukuna merely lets out a low, gravelly chuckle from the archway, completely unbothered, while Maki steps firmly up to the glowing pedestal. Unfolding her black parchment with a sharp snap of her wrists, she scans the glowing text with a ruthless, amused grin before tossing the paper onto the glass table. Her gaze sweeps right past Geto and locks dead onto Nanami, her tone dripping with quiet challenge.

Maki Zenin: "You heard the lady, King. Honesty takes spine. Now move over. 'Identify the biggest hypocrite in the room and demand they state their true desire, or take a strike.' Easy."

Suguru Geto: "Don't look at me, Zen'in. I'm completely transparent about what I want."

I wait to see who Maki picks and what they say

Maki’s eyes lock straight onto Nanami, ignoring Geto completely as a fierce, razor-sharp grin spreads across her face. Across the room, Kento’s posture stiffens, his hands uncurling from his chest as his knuckles white on his lapel. Gojo leans forward on the lounge cushions, resting his chin in his hand with a treacherous, delighted smirk, while Sukuna watches from the archway with quiet disdain. The temperature in the villa lounge drops two degrees as cursed energy flickers around Nanami's folded arms, his classic analog wristwatch ticking heavily against the sudden silence.

Maki Zenin: "I don't need to waste time scanning the room. The biggest hypocrite here is sitting right there in the tailor-made suit. State your true desire, Nanami. Right now, in front of everyone—or take the strike and forfeit your evening date bid."

Kento Nanami: "My conduct is entirely professional, Zen'in. I have nothing to prove to a parlor game."

Satoru Gojo: "That sounds like a refusal to answer. Director, is that a forfeit?"

I drop my eyes, this is out of my control. If he refuses he loses the date with me tonight and if he answers he'll be embarrassed. What can I do. I know "I yell wait! I need a minute."

You drop your eyes for a fraction of a second, feeling the crushing weight of the entire lounge watching Nanami's rigid shoulders, before lifting your head and throwing your hand up to break the silence. The words cut straight through the heavy hum of cursed energy hanging over the carpet. Maki freezes in mid-stride, her jaw tightening as she lowers her parchment slip, while Gojo sits up on the lounge cushions with a sharp, surprised tilt of his head. Across the floor, Nanami's dark eyes snap directly to yours, his chest rising in a slow, controlled breath as the tension in his jaw visibly eases into something quieter and far more intense.

Maki Zenin: "You're letting him off the hook? That defeats the entire purpose of pulling the slip, Donna."

"I'll take the strike for him—this is a game show, but I won't sit here while you make a spectacle out of the man I'm falling in love with." I gasp sharply, my hand flying to clamp over my mouth as the last words hit the room. "I... um," I stumble, heat scorching my face as I slowly sink back into my seat, utterly horrified by what just slipped out.

The room detonates into absolute silence, the air suddenly thick enough to suffocate as your outburst echoes off the glass walls. In the background, Momo’s eyes widen in sheer disbelief as she glances between you and Geto, who slowly crosses his arms in the shadow of the doorway. Nanami stands frozen in his tailored suit, his usual ironclad composure entirely shattered, a dark flush rising past his collar as his knuckles turn stark white against his lapel. Gojo's grin vanishes for a fraction of a second, replaced by a razor-thin edge before his blindfold tilts toward you, while Maki lowers her black parchment with a slow, dangerous smirk.

Maki Zenin: "Well... isn't that something."

Kento Nanami: "I... see."

Satoru Gojo: "Did everyone else catch that, or do we need the sound crew to play it back on the monitors?"

Kento Nanami: "She... she actually said it aloud."

🙈 Bury your face in your hands

Your palms press hard into your burning cheeks, completely blocking out the glare of the villa lounge cameras as your heat radiates straight through your fingers. Beside the pedestal, Kento stands frozen, his chest heaving under his tan suit jacket while a deep, unprecedented color burns across his ears. Gojo throws his arms over the back of the sofa with a dramatic, exaggerated sigh, though his blindfold stays locked squarely on your slumped posture. Megumi steps away from the back wall with quiet, hesitant steps, his dark eyes shifting nervously between you, your hidden face, and the glowing red flame of the Dare Jar.

Maki Zenin: "Well, that's certainly one way to take a strike for a guy. Didn't realize you had a whole poem waiting in your chest, Donna."

Satoru Gojo: "Falling in love? On network television? Nanami, you're practically a romantic lead now! My heart is breaking, truly!"

Suguru Geto: "Careful, Satoru. Your blindfold is slipping. Though I must admit, it's quite a dramatic turn of events for someone so set on keeping things professional."
