Delete your Yam account

You can delete your account yourself at any time, on the website or in the Yam app.

How to delete it

  1. Sign in and open your Profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile (the pencil icon).
  3. Under Account, tap Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, email address and phone number.
  • Your play history and chats with characters, your saves and your memories.
  • Your stories, comments, likes, follows and notifications.
  • Your sign-in with Apple is revoked, and your devices stop receiving notifications.

What is kept

  • Games you published stay playable for other players, credited to "Deleted user". They no longer carry your name or photo.
  • Reports you filed about other content, without your name or phone number.
  • Records we must keep by law, such as an SMS opt-out, for as long as the law requires.

Can't sign in?

Email hi@yamstudio.ai from the email address or with the phone number on your account, and we will delete it for you. See our privacy policy for more.
