What is Yam AI?

Yam AI is dating sim games made for women (or men 😉) by women. Step into a dating show with your favorite cast, star in your own drama, or text the one who never texts back. Every game is written live around what you say and do.

How is Yam AI different from AI chat apps?

A chat app gives you one character to talk to. Yam AI gives you a whole game: a cast who remember you, take sides, get jealous and text you first, with dates, trust to earn, seasons and an ending you choose. You can also make your own game and share it.

Is Yam AI free?

Yes, it's free to play. You get 150 free moves every day, and the first friend you invite unlocks 3 days of unlimited moves. Yam, the coin you earn by playing or buy, gets you extras.

How do I start?

Open a game from Explore or from a link a friend sent, and sign in. Each turn, pick one of the suggested replies or write your own.

What kinds of games are there?

Three kinds, each labeled on its card. A dating reality show (labeled Sim) works like a reality dating show: you pick who to date, and someone gets eliminated. Moments is a micro-drama, played chapter by chapter, scene by scene. Story is free roam: you explore at your own pace, and new scenes unlock as his affinity grows.

Can I text the characters?

Yes. In a dating reality show game there are two places to talk. In Live, the character is with you in the scene: he moves and talks in front of you. In DMs and group chats, he texts you on your phone from wherever he is, and you can text back.

Are the characters real people?

No. Every character is AI. Once a day in each game, a line reminds you: "Everyone here is AI, not a real person."

Can I undo a move or go back?

No. Turns can't be undone or rewound. (In the wardrobe, Try on has Undo for outfits.)

How do I end a date?

Tap Say goodnight, or End date. After he answers, tap Back to the villa, or Stay the night when it's offered. On a planned date, the button reads Head back.

How do I get Stay the night?

Go on an evening or night date, then tap Say goodnight or type "Goodnight, [his name]." After he answers, Stay the night shows next to Back to the villa. A morning or afternoon goodnight just ends the date. It's never offered during a ceremony, the finale, the season's last day, or when you hang out with a friend.

The end options showed up, but I'm not done. Can I keep going?

Yes. Keep typing. A new line keeps the date going, and the options come back when you're ready.

Can we go somewhere else during a date?

Yes, on a one-on-one date or getaway. Just say it, like "let's go to the pier" or "can I see your room?" If he agrees, the scene moves there. He can ask you too. It doesn't work on pull-asides, in the finale, or once the date's end options are showing.

What does the colored glow around the screen mean?

It's the mood of the whole scene, not one character. Rose is romantic, blue-violet is eerie or tense, orange is chaotic, green is calm or hopeful, and grey is everything else. It glows stronger when tension is high. It's only atmosphere and doesn't change your game.

Why doesn't he text me while we're together?

When you're together in Live, he talks to you there. His texts arrive once he's offscreen.

Why did the game suggest a break?

After 3 hours of play without a real pause, a line reminds you to take a break. Nothing stops; you can keep playing.

What are the trust milestones?

Why can't I see his trust?

It shows a lock until trust first reaches 50. After that it stays visible, even if it drops.

Any tips for winning him over?

A few that work. Read his profile: it shows what earns his trust. Keep your word, and show up to the dates you agree to, on time. When he opens up, stay with it instead of changing the subject. Choices that cost you something count more than easy ones. Flirting around can make him jealous. And give it days, not hours: trust grows a little each day. Gifts help a little, if they suit him.

Why is it so slow?

Trust can only grow so much each day, so it takes several days of play. Each character also has his own pace, set by the creator. Some are guarded and take longer.

What loses trust?

Breaking a promise, brushing off something vulnerable he shared, mocking him, or missing a date. Being late or leaving a date early costs a little.

Why did his affinity drop when nothing went wrong?

Because he's the judge, not a rulebook. Each character reacts in his own way, and a creator can make him dislike certain things, like being talked over. The Recent list on his profile shows what moved it and when.

Who asks to be official?

He does, once his affinity and trust are high enough. You answer with Accept or Decline.

If I say no, will he ask again?

No. Each character asks only once. You can still pick him at the finale.

Can I be official with two people?

Yes. Saying yes to someone new doesn't end the first one, and both stay official. But if he sees you flirt with someone else, he can get jealous and ask you out. Turning that date down, or letting the ask run out, costs trust.

Who can I pick at the finale?

The finale shows up to three finalists: the men who trust you most, plus the one you invested in most. You can pick someone who isn't official, even one you once turned down.

What is "On his mind"?

The top of a character's profile shows the latest private thought the game wrote for him. Not every scene writes one.

What can I do when a season ends?

Your finished season stays on its Live feed, read only. From there, tap Next season or Replay. Next season continues your game with the same cast. Replay from day one starts the season over.

Does my relationship carry into the next season?

Mostly, yes. He keeps every memory of you, and your persona, face, keepsakes and messages come along. Scores aren't copied as numbers: the men you left with start a step ahead of everyone else, a little below where you ended. Nobody is official at the start, so you decide again at the new finale.

How much is the next season?

200 Yam. If it fails to start, you get the Yam back.

Can I reread a season that ended?

Yes. Open the game and scroll back through the season's Live feed; it's read only. Your dates are also under Your nights out on each character's profile, and Memories, Keepsakes and History are on Me.

What is Fanfic?

It turns your playthrough into a fanfic you can post. Open it from Publish as fanfic when a season ends, or Write on the Fanfic tab. 18+ fanfics can't be posted. When players start the world from your fanfic, you can earn Yam.

Can I start over?

Yes. Open the game again and start a new season; your other seasons stay saved. There's no restart in the middle of a run, and private games have no Replay.

How do I change my outfit?

Open Me > Wardrobe, or Change your look on the date planner. In Try on, pick the pieces you want. Trying on is free.

How do I take off an accessory?

In Try on, tap a piece you're wearing to take it off. The first tile in each group is the empty one: No accessories, Barefoot, No outerwear, Your own hair. The outfit itself always stays on.

What does Make it do?

It draws a new picture of you in that look, in about 20 seconds, and the game uses it from your next move. It needs a photo of your face first. You get 1 free new look a day (2 on free days and with Yam Plus, 3 with Yam Plus+), then 50 Yam each. Free looks reset at 4 AM, like moves. Wearing a look you already have is free, and a draw that fails doesn't count.

How do I add or change my photo?

On My looks, tap the camera badge and add a clear photo of your face. It redraws you once in what you're wearing now, for free, without using a free look. Photos are checked: no children, nothing explicit.

Can I bring a look into another game?

Looks stay in the game you made them in. From another run of the same game, yes: Wardrobe > From another run > Make it here. It redraws you on this run's face, uses one of today's free looks (50 Yam after that), and leaves out pieces you no longer have.

What is a move?

One turn in a game: you write or pick what you do, and the game answers.

Is it 150 per game?

No. One daily pool covers every game you play.

When are moves unlimited?

For 3 days after the first friend you invite starts playing. They end at 4 AM after the third day.

Where do I see how many are left?

In Me > Your Yam, under your balance, for example "132 left of 150 moves today". It shows on every day that isn't a free day. In a game, a line also tells you once a night when you're down to 20 or fewer.

What uses a move?

Outside free days:

When do my moves come back?

All 150 come back at once at 4 AM, your local time. Nothing comes back before then.

Whose 4 AM?

Your phone's time zone. If you travel, the new time zone applies within a day.

If I don't use them all, do I keep the rest?

No. At 4 AM you have exactly 150 free moves again, whether you had 0 or 100 left. Moves you bought are different: unused ones carry over.

What happens at zero?

The game pauses. Buy ten more moves for 100 Yam, or come back after 4 AM. With Auto-refill on, ten more are bought for you instead, as long as you have 100 Yam.

What is Auto-refill?

A switch in Me > Your Yam > Auto-refill. When your free moves run out, 100 of your Yam buys ten more, in every game, so you don't stop mid-scene. It pauses when you have under 100 Yam and never charges your card.

Do moves I buy expire?

No. They're used only after the day's free moves are gone, and any you don't use stay for the next day.

Why does it say "12 left of 153"?

The total counts moves you bought earlier and haven't used yet: 150 free plus 3 bought.

Does Yam Plus give more moves?

Not directly. Everyone gets the same 150 free moves a day. Yam Plus gives extra Yam each month, and 100 Yam buys ten more moves.

How much does Yam cost?

Your first pack is 200 Yam for $0.99, once. After that: 100 Yam for $0.99, 600 for $4.99, 1,300 for $9.99, 2,800 for $19.99.

What is Yam Plus?

A monthly plan. Prices are in US dollars.

Daily Yam adds up even on days you don't open Yam AI. It lands the next time you open it, and every month reaches the full amount. Your first month of Yam Plus is $4.99, once per account, and your daily stamp keeps going on top.

What is an outfit of my own design?

With Yam Plus, once a month you design your own outfit in any wardrobe: describe it, try it on, and make it. Making it is free and doesn't use your free looks. Yam Plus+ gives two a month. A design you don't use ends with the month.

What is the early member price lock?

Join by Dec 31, 2026, including with the $4.99 first month, and your price stays the same for as long as you stay, even if it goes up later. If you stop and come back, you pay the price at that time.

How does renewal work?

Yam Plus renews every month until you cancel.

How do I cancel?

Me > Your Yam > Yam Plus > Stop renewal. Yam Plus stays until the end of the time you paid for, and every Yam you have stays yours.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are final, and stopping Yam Plus doesn't refund the month you're in. If something went wrong, like a purchase by accident or a double charge, email hi@yamstudio.ai and we'll look into it. Full terms: hiyam.ai/refunds.

Does money buy a better ending?

No. Money never buys his yes, a score or an ending.

Where is my link?

In Wallet, open Friends. Your link is hiyam.ai/ followed by your code. Tap Share to send it.

Can I change my code?

Yes, once, with Make it yours. Your old code keeps working, so links you already shared still count.

How does my friend use it?

They open your link before they sign up. Or they type your code when they sign up, or later in Friends, any time before their 10th move.

What do we each get?

Yam is paid as your friend plays. Moves in any game count.

At ten moves you also become friends on Yam AI and follow each other.

Why didn't I get 50 Yam at the 2nd move?

Your first friend's 2nd move unlocks your 3 free days instead. After that, if you have private photos still locked, a friend's 2nd move opens all of them instead of paying the 50 Yam.

Who counts as a friend?

A different person, new to Yam AI, playing on their own phone or computer. All of these must be true:

• Their account was made on or after Oct 8, 2026, when friend invites opened.
• They joined with your link or code before their 10th move.
• Nobody else's code reached them first. Each friend has one inviter: the first code counts.
• They didn't invite you. Two people can't invite each other.

What doesn't count?

Your own extra accounts. That includes accounts with your phone number, and accounts made or played on your phone or browser, even with a different number or email.

My friend used my phone to sign up. Does that count?

Ask them to sign up and play on their own phone. An account that plays on your phone looks the same to us as a second account of yours.

My friend's reward says it unlocks later. Why?

If a friend reaches ten moves within minutes of signing up, the ten-move reward waits. It unlocks on its own once they play on a second day and make 50 moves. You don't need to do anything.

My friend's row says the invite doesn't qualify. Why?

Our system flagged it, so there's no Yam for that friend. That happens when they share a phone number, phone or browser with you or with another friend you invited.

Does my friend lose anything?

No. Your friend always gets their own 100 Yam at ten moves. If you already got 50 Yam for that friend, it stays yours.

Think it's a mistake?

Tap Contact us on that friend's row, or email hi@yamstudio.ai with your username.

Is there a monthly limit?

Your first 10 friends each month are paid right away, or 100 if you're a creator with at least one public game. The month starts over on the 1st, at midnight in your time zone.

What about friends past the limit?

Their row says they're past this month's limit. Email hi@yamstudio.ai with your username.

How do I make a game?

Go to hiyam.ai/create, describe your idea and shape it with Yam: cast, world, season and endings. When you're ready, tap Build to draw the art. You can redraw any single piece. You can make a Sim or a Moments game. The Creator guide at hiyam.ai/guide walks through it step by step.

Does testing my own game use moves?

Your first 2,000 test moves in each of your own games are free, then they count as regular moves. Messages in a test play don't use moves, and date plans, Ask him again and history cards are free for your first 100 in each game.

I started from Test play. If I come back to that save later, is it still free?

Yes. A save you started from Test play stays a test play, however much later you come back to it, and so do a Season 2 or replay started from it. Only a new run started from the regular Play button uses your daily moves.

Who can see my game?

You choose in Publish settings: Private (only you), Unlisted (anyone with the link) or Public (listed on Explore). 18+ games can't be Public.

How do I share it?

Every game has a short link: hiyam.ai/ followed by its code. Anyone with the link can open it.

Do creators earn anything?

Yes, in Yam, when players reach their 10th move in your game:

Your first public game to reach 10 players adds 100 Yam once. Your own plays and test plays don't count, and publishing alone pays nothing. Creators with a public game can also be paid for up to 100 invited friends a month instead of 10.

How do I sign in?

Tap Continue with Google, Continue with Discord, or enter your phone number and the 6-digit code we text you. There is no email sign-in.

My code didn't arrive.

The text can take up to a minute. After 60 seconds you can tap Resend code, or Use a different number. If texts don't reach your country, sign in with Google or Discord instead.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Open hiyam.ai in your phone's browser and play there. To open it like an app, add it to your Home Screen (on iPhone, Share > Add to Home Screen).

Can I change my phone number or add another way to sign in?

Not in the app yet. Keep using the way you signed up, so you land in the same account.

How do I delete my account?

Profile > Edit profile > Account > Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm. It happens right away and can't be undone. Games you published stay playable, credited to "Deleted user". Deleting cancels a Yam Plus you bought on the web; one billed by Apple or Google Play has to be cancelled there. If you can't sign in, email hi@yamstudio.ai from the email address or with the phone number on your account, and we'll delete it for you.

Do I have to be 18?

Yes. After you sign up, a Before you play card asks you to confirm you're 18+ and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. If you're not 18, sign out.

Why am I asked for my date of birth?

You confirm it once before you unlock an 18+ game, tip, or buy Yam.

Is it written by AI?

Yes. The first time you type your own words, a sheet explains that what you type and choose goes to Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (GPT) to write your game. You can take that back in Profile > Edit profile > Account > Withdraw AI consent.

How do I report something?

Open the game's page and tap ... > Report this game. On a character's profile, tap ... > Report this character. On a player's profile, tap ... > Report. On a comment, tap Report. Reasons: sexual content, intimate image of me, harassment or hate, violence or self-harm, spam or scam, impersonation, copyright or trademark, or something else.

Can I block someone?

Yes. On their profile, tap ... and then Block. You won't see their comments, their games or their profile.

What if I'm having a hard time?

If something you type suggests you're at risk, it isn't sent and doesn't use a move. You'll see ways to reach help right away: call or text 988, text HOME to 741741, or visit findahelpline.com. More at hiyam.ai/safety.

How do I get an intimate image of me removed?

Email hi@yamstudio.ai with a link to the image, real or AI-made. You don't need an account. We remove it within 48 hours.

It says "Something went wrong."

Tap retry. A turn that didn't go through doesn't use a move, and what you typed comes back to the box. If it keeps failing, reload the page; your game is saved up to your last turn.

Retry doesn't help and I'm stuck.
