Refund and Cancellation Policy

What we sell

• Yam Packs. One-time purchases of Yam, the virtual currency used only inside Hiyam (for extra moves, looks, date extras, photos and story content). Yam has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred. A first-purchase pack is offered once per account.
• Yam Plus and Yam Plus+. Monthly memberships that renew automatically every month until you cancel. Yam Plus may be offered at a reduced price for your first month, once per account.

Current prices are listed at hiyam.ai/pricinghiyam.ai/pricing, in U.S. dollars. Taxes are added at checkout where applicable. The story itself is free to play, and payment never buys a character's agreement or affection, a score, or a story ending.

Renewals and price lock

Yam Plus and Yam Plus+ renew every month at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.

Early member price: if you join on or before December 31, 2026 (including with the first-month offer), your monthly price does not go up for as long as your membership stays active, even if our prices rise later. If your membership ends and you join again later, the price at that time applies.

Upgrades: you can move from Yam Plus to Yam Plus+ at any time. We charge the prorated difference for the rest of your current month right away, your renewal date stays the same, and the Yam Plus+ price applies from your next renewal.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time in Hiyam: Me > Your Yam > Yam Plus > Stop renewal. You can also cancel by contacting us (see below).

Cancelling stops future renewals. Your membership and its benefits continue until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it. Yam already in your account stays in your account.

Refunds

All payments for Yam Packs, Yam Plus and Yam Plus+ are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

If something went wrong. If you bought something by accident, were charged twice, or a technical problem kept you from getting what you paid for, email hi@yamstudio.ai from the email address on your account, with the date of the purchase and what happened. We look at every request and may refund at our discretion. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

A refund takes the Yam back. The Yam from a refunded pack, or the Yam a refunded membership granted that month, is removed from your account.

Purchases in the iOS or Android app

Yam and memberships bought in our iOS or Android app are sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple's or Google's refund and cancellation rules apply to those purchases instead of this policy: cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and ask Apple or Google for a refund.

EU, EEA and UK consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Yam is delivered to your account right after payment, so at checkout we ask you to agree that delivery starts now and that you lose the right to withdraw once the Yam is delivered. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.

Billing problems and disputes

If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first at hi@yamstudio.ai so we can look into it and fix it with you. If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, we remove the Yam bought with it. If that leaves your Yam balance below zero, you cannot spend Yam or make new purchases until it is back to zero or more.
